To increase my awareness of G-d, I tried not going to the bathroom. I know this sounds really weird (it is…) but I wanted to experiment “holding it in” for as long as possible (one day..). By not going to the bathroom I did not get to see the bracha of asher yatzar the whole day. This bracha recognizes that Hashem is constantly working to keep us alive and making sure our bodies function the way He wants them to. Until I really had to go to the bathroom, there was no constant reminder that Hashem controls our bodies. This experiment definitely increased my awareness of G-d because I was reminded (when I had to go) that G-d is always making sure that our bodies work normally.
