i love rebe

Dear Ms Gordon,
I really respect Mrs. Krause for what she said and for being able to open up to us and discuss the different ways that we serve Hashem. Initially, I completely agreed with Mrs. Krause when she said that her way of serving Hashem is true Modern Orthodoxy. I agreed with her when she said that the way she and her family live their lives is the true form of enfusing positive bits of chol into kodesh. But after thinking about what she said and after numerous discussions about her speech, I am starting to think that she would obviously believe that what she is doing is correct, and maybe there is more than one way to serve Hashem within the realm of modern orthodoxy. I personally, and someone mentioned this in class, think that teachers like Mrs. Goldberg and Mrs. Schiowtiz are my models of a woman practicing modern orthodoxy, for Mrs. Krause lives in an entirely different world than ours. While Mrs. Krause does in fact incorporate modern aspects of the world into her life, I do not think that she is modern orthodox.
